TUESDAY UPDATE ON PRINCESS WEIYOUNG EPISODE 12
This ep begins with Weiyang discovering Zi Yan in such poor condition from living in LMF’s manor. The 3rd concubine begins to say how she heard that LMF was treating Zi Yan poorly and when she went to rescue her, she found that she suffered wounds.
Ziyan coughs out blood which worries everyone. Then she exclaims how she regrets betraying Weiyang and taking LMF’s side. Now she realises that only Weiyang and Baizhi treats her genuinely well, but unfortunately she passed away.
Meanwhile, LMF happily walks into his father’s room. His father quickly slaps him saying that “he’s no longer his son”. The father then goes on saying how the Li’s household’s reputation is dwindling because of him and now that Ziyan is in poor health, LMF is showing no guilt towards his actions.
LMF leaves angrily and confronts his mother who tries to soothe him – no wonder why he acts like a spoilt person! You’re always making evil plans to hurt other people and now he has beaten his child to death!
Then we see Changle sad at being mocked by everyone while Weiyang gets praises. Da Furen immediately comes in and tells Changle to not let this incident ruin her life. She instructs Changle to hold her head high and to get through this.
Afterwards, we see the concubines and other madams having tea and chatting with one another. Then Da Furen and Changle arrives confidently which raised eyebrows.
One after another, the madams all flock to Changle saying how she’s still so pretty. Da Furen smugly says to her maid that these women don’t care about smartness, but prettiness. And her Changle is the prettiest of them all.
Meanwhile we see Weiyang sitting on a bench by herself as TBY walks in and sneakily tries to scare her. He succeeded and saves her when she nearly falls, but then he gets saved when he nearly falls as well.
I guess the writers are plotting a love line between them? TBY picks up Weiyang’s fallen headpiece and personally puts it on her. Weiyang hurriedly leaves as TBY sublety says how he’s interested in Weiyang. Weiyang gets saved by her 2nd brother but he later gets jealous thinking that she was happy talking to TBY. He then warns her that she needs to be careful since people will use her after she has the Emperor’s praise.
Afterwards, Weiyang enters the room where all the concubines and madams were at, but not before hearing bad gossip about herself. After greeting her father and his friends, the Princes all arrive. TBJ nonchalantly hands Weiyang a present from his mother, while Da Furen and Changle looks disappointed.
TBY then compliments Weiyang and her party schedule in public. TBJ still looks a bit angry at Weiyang
Then, it’s nighttime and they’re ready to light candles to put on their mini pond. TBJ looks hurried as he went to find Weiyang and as soon as he was going to go over to her, he gets interrupted by Changle. He quickly ends the conversation with her saying how “He didn’t have hope, how can he be disappointed in her?”. LOL! Screen Shot 2016-11-18 at 9.07.13 am.pngAs Changle looks on enviously, TBJ stealthily walks over to Weiyang who’s been praying. He follows her actions and puts a candle in the pond. Baizhi then happily says “look! You’re candle and TBJ’s candle are now together. So pretty!”Meanwhile, Changru presents a flower candle to TBY. But he rejects her saying that he doesn’t do these things. Changru becomes disappointed and says “TBY, did you forget the old Changru?”
Suddenly we see a floating body where everyone was lighting candles. They discover that the body was Ziyan’s. LMF hurriedly runs over saying how it’s impossible that it’s her. Looks like he’s finally worried about her. Weiyang publically asks LMF whether he has anything to do with her death. This publically humiliates LMF as he isn’t married yet a maid9 was carrying his baby. They then discover the wounds on her body, and LMF gets even more humiliated.
Looks like it was all Weiyang’s plot from the beginning as she exacts her revenge on LMF.
Then we get to see TBJ after the event as he thinks to himself: “It is clear that I’m angry with her but why do I feel the need to protect her when she gets bullied by others?”
Meanwhile the Emperor gets mad at the affairs at the Li Household, in particularly at LMF’s recent behaviour. We also see TBY suspecting Weiyang on implicating LMF.
We also see LMF get arrested by the palace’s guards while Da Furen looks on helplessly.
As LMF is bound and on his way to his exile place, Weiyang’s bodyguard stops them in their tracks. Looks like he’s going to dieeeeee. LMF pitifully pleads for his life, saying that she can get all the money she wants from his father…
Of course, that’s not what she wants. So she begins to make cuts all over his body, saying that this is to avenge her country and her people. LMF then sells out his mother saying that it wasn’t him that planned this but Da Furen instead. tsktsk.
The bodyguard kills LMF and walks away unharmed.
Meanwhile, the Li’s household is in an uproar as Da Furen wants to get her son back despite the Emperor’s order. She then blames Weiyang for doing this to her and her son. Then, they get news from a messenger saying that LMF has died on route. Da Furen faints in shock whilst Weiyang looks pleased at this news.
Weiyang then prays to her father and grandma, saying that she misses them a lot and that even though LMF is dead, she doesn’t feel joy.Later Weiyang and her 2nd brother begin to talk. The 2nd brother kept pondering on who killed LMF and asked Weiyang whether it was her doing. She says that LMF deserved it anyways due to his bad actions and behaviour. Then the 2nd brother gifts Weiyang with a statue lookalike which was so sweet!
Then we get a sorrowful scene by Da Furen who’s clearly upset by her son’s death.
