MONDAY UPDATE ON JHANSI KI RANI EPISODE 386-388
Rose decides to set Laxmibai free from the barrel.
A despondent Tatya Tope informs Raghunath about the pain and humiliation which Laxmibai had to undergo at the hands of the British. Raghunath decides to teach the British a lesson for humiliating the queen.
Rose succeeds in freeing Laxmibai. While leaving, Laxmibai and Rose are surprised on noticing couples entering the palace. Rose remembers that Nelson has organized a Valentine's Day party. Laxmibai realizes it would be risky to escape from the fort.
Tatya Tope and Raghunath too watch the flurry of activity in the fort. Tatya Tope and Raghunath disguise themselves as English men. At the same time, Laxmibai disguises herself as an English woman to escape from the fort undetected.
During the party, Laxmibai gets offended when Nelson stands on Gangadhar Rao's chair. Nelson raises the toast to celebrate Valentine's Day and also the victory of East India Company's annexation of Jhansi. He also announces to have captured Laxmibai.
Nelson notices Rose with a stranger and enquires about her
Nelson gets suspicious on finding a stranger along with Rose at the Valentine's Day party. When he asks , Rose tells it is her friend Agnes from Bristol. Rose reveals further that Agnes's husband is from the Calcutta battalion and she has come to India to visit him. To prevent Nelson from getting suspicious further, Rose takes him away to dance.
After managing to hoodwink Nelson, Rose are Laxmibai about to flee when a soldier informs Nelson that Laxmibai has escape from jail. He also informs Nelson that her warriors have surrounded the jail.
Laxmibai flees the fort and on her way runs into Tatya Tope and Raghunath. The trio then makes their escape from the fort.
After learning that Laxmibai had just escaped, Nelson leads a contingent to pursue her.
When Bhim Singh takes a longer route to Gwalior citing the threat of Rana Bankura, a British officer gets suspicious. The official threatens to shoot Bhim Singh.
Before breathing his last, Dunlop writes Rampur on the earth as a message for his comrades. Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Raghunath come across Dunlop's body. The trio decides to check the body for any message but have to flee at the sight of Nelson.
Nelson orders his army to capture Krantiguru before she could loot the Jhansi's treasury.
Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Raghunath secretly watch Nelson. Nelson too discovers Dunlop's body and manages to decipher Dunlop's message. Nelson infers from the word Rampur written by Dunlop, that Rana Bankura had stolen the treasury and taken it to Rampur.
Bhim Singh manages to outwit the British officer with the help of men loyal to him.
After killing all soldiers not loyal to him, Bhim Singh quickly changes his disguise and decides to take the treasury to Laxmibai.
However, on his way, Karma's cart falls into a pit and refuses to budge.
Meanwhile, Laxmibai as Rana Bankura is on her way to save Jhansi's treasury from reaching Gwalior. Nelson too marches at the head of his army to prevent the wealth from falling into Laxmibai's hands.
Nelson yells in anger when Tatya Tope and his comrades manage to escape.
Rana Bankura waylays Karms and stops him from fleeing with the Jhansi treasure. Karma and Rana Bankura are unaware about each others identity.
While Karma warns that he will never allow the treasure to be looted, Rana Bankura accuses him of looting the subjects of Jhansi. In the midst of the duel, Rana Bankura's veil falls.
Karma is shocked to see Laxmibai in Rana Bankura's attire. While Karma freezes on the spot at the sight of the queen, Laxmibai unaware about the trader's true identity; hits him. Karma reveals his true identity; however, Laxmibai suspects Karma wanted to steal the treasure and hence disguised himself as Bhim Singh.
Karma reveals that he wanted to support revolutionaries like Nana Sahib, Azimullah and Rango Bapuji Gupte in their freedom struggle and hence, joined hands with Mangal Pandey. He reveals further that the treasure would help Mangal Pandey and his comrades buy arms and ammunitions. Laxmibai is happy that Karma is fighting for his motherland.
Karma tells Laxmibai that they must reach Rampur as Managal Pandey and his comrades are waiting there.
Laxmibai declares her happiness to help the revolutionaries. She declares her intention to personally hand over the treasure to Mangal Pandey
