A soldier informs Nelson and Robert Hamilton about the arrival of a British battalion to convey the Jhansi treasury to Gwalior. Watching the Indian officer closely, Nelson realizes it is Karma. However, the official introduces himself as Captain Bhim Singh.
Laxmibai plans with Tatya Tope to rob the Jhansi treasury while it is being shifted to Gwalior. Laxmibai believes it would help her win back her kingdom.
Nelson receives Lord Dalhousie's message asking the Company officials to transport the treasury to Gwalior as soon as possible. Nelson tells Robert Hamilton that Lord Dalhousie didn't fear Rana Bankura but Krantiguru, who needed to be arrested immediately.
While Rose goes to meet Laxmibai and her comrades, Nelson too meets Rao Dulaju. Rao Dulaju tells Nelson that Laxmibai kept on changing her hiding place to avoid capture.
Rose informs Laxmibai that on the orders received from Fort William, Nelson plans to shift the Jhansi treasury to Gwalior. She also informs Laxmibai that Nelson has been ordered to arrest Krantiguru.
Tatya Tope tells Rose that Nelson will never succeed in locating Krantiguru since she has changed her form. Laxmibai tells her commanders that the British may misuse the treasury and so it had to be looted from the fort. Laxmibai waits to rebuild her army with the treasure.
Raghunath fears the British want to capture Krantiguru. Laxmibai states that they may get what they want.
Nelson learns about, Krantiguru planning to loot traders staying at a frontier area of Jhansi. Nelson's informant is none other than Laxmibai's Pradhan Mantri.
Nelson rushes with his army to the designated spot. He asks his soldiers to hide and wait for his signal before attacking Krantiguru. As soon as Nelson spots Krantiguru, he signals his soldiers to attack.
Nelson along with Robert Hamilton attacks Laxmibai. Laxmibai engages the British officials in a duel. Laxmibai is surprised to find Karma in the Company uniform.
Nelson orders Bhim Singh to attack the queen. A ferocious fight ensues between Bhim Singh and Laxmibai. Laxmibai is arrested. Nelson orders Bhim Singh to make arrangements to take the treasury to Gwalior.
The British officials leave no chance to insult the queen. Tatya Tope and Raghunath secretly watch Laxmibai's arrest helplessly. Nelson orders Dunlop to go along with Bhim Singh to Gwalior.
Nelson confines Laxmibai inside a barrel. Rose, who too watches the incident, is shocked. Nelson is confident Laxmibai would not survive inside the barrel.
Nelson confines Laxmibai inside a barrel with the intention of suffocating her to death. Rose watches the scene helplessly.
To humiliate Laxmibai further, Nelson decides to parade her before her subjects.
Bhim Singh along with Dunlop escorts the Jhansi treasury to Gwalior. At Bhim Singh's suggestion, the soldiers decide to stop at a roadside eatery.
While others get busy with their food, Bhim Singh decides to send a message to Mangal Pandely. In the message, Bhim Singh informs Mangal Pandey that he has succeeded in bringing the Jhansi treasury outside the fort and intended to hand it over to Laxmibai. Bhim Singh also expresses his regret about engaging Laxmibai in a duel. It is later revealed that Bhim Singh is none other than Karma. Karma later hands over the letter to Madhav.
While leaving the dhabha, Madhav barges into Dunlop and drops the letter. After reading the letter, Dunlop kills Madhav. Dunlop decides to award the same fate to Karma but Karma kills him.
Nelson parades Laxmibai confined inside the barrel through the Jhansi market. Jhansi citizens are shocked by the pitiable condition of their queen. Laxmibai warns Nelson that her death will trigger a revolution which will drive the British away from India.
Robert Hamilton concurs with Nelson about confining Laxmibai inside the barrel which could lead to her death. Robert Hamilton also suggests informing Dalhousie about the Jhansi treasury being shifted to Gwalior.
