MONDAY UPDATE ON GANGAA EPISODE 178-179
The Episode starts with Ganga sleeping in the remand room. The other girls there wake up Ganga and taunt her. They say they will welcome her and hold her hair. Ganga pushes them. The girl asks what did she do. Ganga argues. The girl asks why did she come here. Ganga says I did not do anything. They all call her liar and make her fall. Ganga kicks the girl. The girl beats Ganga, and they all hold Ganga. The warden comes and stops the girls. The girls put the blame on Ganga. Ganga says they are lying, I did not do anything. The lady takes her to a different room and makes her stay in the dark room alone. Ganga sleeps.
Sagar worries for Ganga and says maybe she did not eat food till now, and sleeping in ground. He says he will sleep on ground. Maharaj ji blesses their selfless love and goes. Sagar
thinks about Ganga and cries. Ganga recalls Sagar and gets sad. Niru is worried. Raghav asks Niru does he really think Raj is involved in this. Niru recalls Barkha and Raj. Niru sees everyone crying and says yes, I think Maa said right, I m responsible, why did I take Barkha to meet Raj. Raghav says you wanted good for Barkha, but don’t blame yourself, why did you not tell her parents about Raj.
Niru cries and says I have to tell them truth about Barkha’s secret marriage, I know they will be hurt. He asks Raghav to get all details about Raj, Raj was Barkha’s senior in her medical college, I don’t have his number, get his details from Barkha’s college tonight, it will be good to have details about Raj before meeting investigative officer. Raghav says fine and goes.
Its morning, the warden wakes up Ganga. Ganga thinks Niru has come and goes to see. The investigative officer Shreya Mathur comes there. Ganga sees her. She asks Ganga to come. Ganga asks her to call by her name and argues with her. Shreya smiles. The warden says Shreya is big police officer. Ganga laughs and asks where is her uniform, thieves roam without uniform. Shreya asks Ganga to keep quiet.
She makes Ganga stand on the table and talks to her. Ganga says you can’t be thief, as you have your name badge. Shreya says you are smart, I m special investigative officer, I help police and solve case. Ganga says spy, which stories have, then you will be very sharp. Shreya says you are also smart, you can become special investigative officer like me. Ganga says no, I will become lawyer like my Babu. Shreya says so your Babu is lawyer.
Niru asks Raghav to inform him after getting info about Raj, he is going to remand home to meet Ganga. Madhvi recalls Barkha and him, and looks sad. She passes his kerchief and wallet to him. He questions her about their relation, is there nothing left after her doubt, just Barkha could explain the truth, but now she is gone, how shall I assure you. He goes and she cries. Amma ji asks Maharaj ji to talk to pandit. Niru is leaving. Sagar asks shall I come along. Niru says no, kids don’t go such place, I will bring Ganga home. Sagar says I will sit in car, please.
Amma ji says Ganga is in trouble, she did not go on picnic. Sagar insists. They all get surprised seeing Ganga home. Niru asks what happened to her. Ganga says nothing, I could not sleep all night. Sagar says we were coming to take you, how did you come along. Shreya walks in and sees Niru. She introduces herself as Shreya Mathur, special investigative officer. Niru says Niranjan Chaturvedi… She says sorry, Ganga was there in the room and her finger prints are found on many things, unfortunately and she has seen the body, I mean she has seen Barkha, so her statement was necessary. Niru says I know, but she can’t do murder.
Shreya says I just understand language of evidence, its tough to digest this little girl will murder, but they have to find who has done the murder. Niru asks her to come and introduces Amma ji. Sagar talks to Ganga. Ganga says Shreya is very sharp spy. Sagar holds her hand. Prabha dries her hair. Yash asks for breakfast. She scolds him and he asks about his fees. She says tell your dad about fees, its good Ginny gave me money, give the fees in school. She does not get money in her cupboard and gets angry that Ratan has taken Yash’s fees. She calls Ratan, while Ratan is busy in Chowtha arrangements.
Madhvi sees phone ringing and attends call. Prabha scolds Ratan. Madhvi says Prabha… Prabha gets tensed, and asks is Ratan there. The call ends, and Prabha scolds Yash. Amma ji says we know Barkha since long time, but she came to stay here to study in Banaras. Shreya says you look strict, Barkha was modern, different from you, how were your relations. Amma ji says I did not like her and had arguments as Barkha was modern mindset girl, will I lie, don’t you trust me. Shreya asks her to relax, its her work to question, as she is a cop. Shreya questions Madhvi. She asks her about her relation with Barkha, did they argue about anything, maybe some insecurity or jealousy.
Shreya asks for tea. Amma ji asks servant to get tea. Pulkit comes there and stops seeing Shreya. Madhvi signs him to go. Shreya asks this is your elder son right? Madhvi says yes. Shreya introduces herself. Pulkit gets tensed. He asks his relation with Barkha. He recalls Madhvi’s tears and gets angry. Shreya asks is he getting angry. Amma ji says why will he get angry, he loved Barkha, why to question kids in this matter. Shreya asks Pulkit to go. Shreya likes the tea and questions the servant. She asks what does she know about Barkha. The maid gets tensed and looks at Amma ji. Shreya scares her and asks her to say just truth. She asks for one more tea.
Sagar and Ganga come there and look on. Shreya talks to Barkha’s parents and says Barkha has tried to commit suicide one day before and cut her wrist, why did anyone not tell this to me before. Barkha’s parents say they did not tell us anything. Shreya asks Niru to speak out the truth, as Barkha’s parents have the right to know truth. Niru nods. He says I will say everything to you. Shreya asks will you say now, why did you not say before, I don’t know, Barkha was young, bright and beautiful, she was going to become doctor, why did she wish to end her life?
Niru agrees to tell everything to Shreya. She asks him why he dint do it before. I cannot understand how such a young and bright would be doctor gave up on life! She was murdered a few hours later itself. Niru says I dint tell you earlier as Raghav ji is trying to find more info about him. Barkha tried to commit suicide because of Raj only. Shreya asks him who Raj is. Niru looks at Barkha’s parents. He wants to talk alone but Shreya and Barkha’s parents want to know it all before everyone else. Who is this Raj? Niru shares that Raj is Barkha’s husband. Everyone is shocked. Barkha and Raj got secretly married. She kept a fast for him on Karwachauth. She wanted to call him here so she could tell everyone about their wedding. Raj was hesitant about the same. When he dint turn up that day, Barkha felt
that she was cheated. This is why she tried to commit suicide. Sagar wonders why Barkha Massi dint tell anyone about her wedding. Madhvi sends the kids upstairs. Shreya still asks Niru about Raj. Niru says she only told me that he is her senior in college.
Someone knocks at the door. Niru stands in shock. The guy asks for Barkha. Niru calls him Raj.
Prabha is enjoying with Ginny and her friends. They are talking about black magic and hypnotism. Prabha and Ginny had lied to the other ladies that Ratan was hypnotised on Karwachauth night. The ladies offer to hypnotise Prabha to prove it that hypnotism works. Prabha is pensive but cannot show it that she is scared. She agrees. Ginny tries to stop the ladies but Prabha wants to do it. One lady starts the process of hypnotism on Prabha.
Raj asks everyone why they are staring at him like that. I dint speak to her for last 2 days. I was worried. Niru questions him on the same. Raj acts all innocent. Who are you? Niru is taken aback. You don’t know me? You met me last night in hotel room. Raj says that he hasn’t met Barkha since last 2 days. Niru calls him a liar. You were supposed to come to our house on Karwachauth Day. You dint come so she tried to commit suicide. You only called her in the hotel. Raj refuses. What am I supposed to do with all that? Niru replies that he is after all Barkha’s husband. You married her. Raj denies. Barkha herself told me that she loves her Jija ji. Madhvi and everyone are stunned. You can ask her. Please call her. Shreya says we cannot call her or ask her anything. She is no more. Raj asks her how it happened.
Niru looks angrily at him. He holds Raj’s collar. Stop acting! I left Barkha with you last night. I don’t know what happened once I left from there. I only know that you only killed her! Raj denies. I haven’t met her since last 2 days. I am not lying. You are lying. Who are you? Oh, now I understand. You are Barkha’s Jija ji whom she loved and wanted to marry. You killed her and are blaming me so you can save yourself? Niru gets angry. She was like my sister. You are lying! Madhvi is in tears. Ratan and Maharaj ji have to hold back Niru. Please calm down. Shreya tells Niru to stop. Niru cannot understand why Raj is lying. Raj instead calls him a lawyer. Shreya thinks that this case is becoming like one complex jigsaw puzzle. She turns to Niru. If you are saying the truth then why is there no entry by Raj’s name in the register of the hotel? Niru doesn’t know how it happened. Barkha spoke to him before leaving for the hotel. I dint want to go but she insisted. Shreya takes Raj’s number. She puts it on for tracking. The guy on the other end says there is no call from this number on Barkha’s mobile. Last call was from Niranjan Chaturvedi. Madhvi thinks of the convo of Barkha and Niru that she had overheard on Karwachauth Day. Shreya ends the call. Raj says I don’t know why Niru is blaming me. I was not even in Banaras at that time. I was in Allahabad. He shows her his train ticket. Niru calls it another lie of his, but Raghav ji says Raj is not lying. A room was booked in his name in a hotel there. Niru refuses to believe it. I met him yesterday only! Shreya gets a call.
Shreya tells Niru that in that hotel, the room was booked using your credit card. It was booked under the name of Mr. And Mrs. Chaturvedi. Raj repeats that barkha was only his junior. She was having an affair with Niru. Barkha’s mother is in tears. You only killed my daughter. You are blaming someone else! Niru denies. I am not lying. I know nothing about the booking. He is a liar. Barkha’s father tells him to stop. You are the one who is lying. We dint believe Amma ji when she called to tell us about Barkha trying to break Madhvi’s house. We should have stopped her back then only. You mislead her. You killed her! Niru looks at the faces of his family members. Do you all believe I killed Barkha? He asks Madhvi if she too feels the same way. She leaves from there without saying anything. Amma ji denies. My son cannot kill anyone. My son is not a killer. Barkha says I dint say so. I already told you, I trust proofs. Sadly, all the evidences point at your son at the moment. Niru looks at Raj.
Sagar and Ganga wonder what would be happening downstairs. They notice Madhvi heading towards her room. Sagar gets concerned. Why was mom crying? Niru follows Madhvi. He is sad to see her all heartbroken and in tears. She pushes his hand away as he touches her shoulder. He asks her if she trusts a stranger, and not him? She says how I trust you. I know that that hotel room was booked in your name – Mr. And Mrs. Niranjan Chaturvedi. Ganga and Sagar stand by the door. Madhvi asks Niru what she should make out of it. The bill was also paid by your card. He doesn’t know how the room got booked in his name. I only know this that when I was trying to make Raj and Barkha understand. A flashback is shown. The phone in the hotel room rings. Barkha picks it up. She next asks Raj if he dint pay the bill. Raj says I forgot it. Machine dint accept my card. I will go and try again. Niru offers to do it. He leaves both of them alone. Flashback ends.
Niru asks Madhvi if she still doubts him. You really think I can cheat you? You think I can kill someone? Have you understood me this much only in all these years? I never thought that I will have to ask this to you. You trust me so much. I thought we both understand each other too well. You understand me more than me. But today I can see that I am wrong. I only am responsible for this, not you. It is my mistake if you cannot trust me enough. No one trusts me today, not even you. Ganga steps forward. I trust you the most Babu. Babu cannot kill anyone. She leaves. Sagar too seconds Ganga. I too trust you Papa. He tells the same to his mother. Papa cannot kill anyone ever! Sagar too leaves. Madhvi looks at Niru.
Ginny’s friends make Prabha press their hands and dance because she is hypnotised. Ginny stops them. Mocking someone is really unfair. The lady brings Prabha out of the spell. Prabha cannot recall anything. I know nothing happened. One lady shows her the video she has recorded. Prabha gets all tight lipped. Ginny says sorry to Prabha from her friends’ behalf.
Shreya sits down to talk with Ganga and Sagar. She asks Ganga if there was something wrong between her Babu and Barkha Massi. What happened exactly on Karwachauth Day? Ganga and Sagar are holding hands. Shreya observes their bonding. I trust you a lot Ganga so I took you to your house directly. I understood that you never lie, you always stand by truth. Now I think you lie at times. Ganga denies. I never lie. Madhvi and Amma ji impatiently wait outside. Shreya wants Ganga to tell the truth. Ganga asks her if she will send Babu to jail if she tells her everything. Shreya replies that she wont do anything to Niru if he is innocent. But you must not hide anything from me. Ganga says Babu is innocent. Babu and Bahu ji fought because of Barkha Massi. Bahu ji cried. I felt bad. I got worried, thinking if Babu will leave Bahu ji because of Barkha Massi. I got angry but I never thought that Barkha Massi will die. She also shares the dinner incident and fight afterwards; and how Madhvi left the house on Karwachauth night. I went to hotel but Barkha Massi was already dead by then. Shreya thanks her. Ganga asks Sagar if she said something wrong. Sagar says you spoke truth. You dint say anything wrong.
Shreya finds Amma ji and Madhvi standing outside. Amma ji says we were worried about the kids. They are small so they might get scared. Are they alright? Shreya says they are pretty brave. I think I have solved the case. She walks away.
Everyone is gathered downstairs. Shreya tells them all that this case is complicated. Raj and Mr. Chaturvedi’s story dint match, so I spoke to Ganga. She is an honest and brave girl. All thanks to her, it will become easy for me to reach any conclusion. Ganga is relieved to think that now Shreya knows Babu is innocent. Shreay continues, all the evidences were pointing at Niru. What Ganga told me has actually strengthened it. If Barkha had risk from anyone then it was you (Niru)! Shock registers on everyone’s faces. Shreya says I joined all the links and made the story. You fell for Barkha. She came here to stay with you. You felt your married life has become boring. Niru calls it wrong but Shreya points out that she isn’t done yet. Barkha was smart and you got attracted to her because of her open attitude. You both fell in love with each other. You hid it from your family members. Madhvi got doubt on you both. Barkha was fed up of this hide and seek game. She was dreaming of her own family. She wanted to tell everyone about your relation on Karwachauth Day. She put a lot of pressure on him as well. But you refused! You dint want to disturb your married life. She tried to commit suicide because of the same. She had threatened to tell everyone to her sister. You got scared, you thought of getting her out of your way! After the suicide attempt, you took her to hospital. You made sure no one came along, so you get successful in what you want. You took her directly to hotel from hospital. You lied to everyone that she is still in hospital. You murdered her in the hotel room!
