TUESDAY UPDATE ON PRINCESS WEIYOUNG EPISODE 30
TBJ faints from kneeling overnight. He immediately gets checked by the royal physician who says that since TBJ has been exposed to rain, his health is very weak and will be difficult to heal. His mother gets anxious for TBJ’s health but doesn’t want to give in to him and Weiyang’s relationship. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 12.57.11 pm.png During the night, TBJ suddenly wakes up from a nightmare about Weiyang so his servant quickly goes to get a doctor to check on his health. It looks like this was a ploy so that TBJ can leave the palace in the doctor’s attire without arousing suspicion. TBJ then quickly goes to save Weiyang while the Emperor realises his grandson has secretly left the palace. The Emperor then orders that TBJ is not allowed to come back to the Capital while his mother tries to plead for him. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.04.08 pm.png Meanwhile, Changle gets the news of the Emperor’s orders and wants to go and plead for TBJ. However, CYN tells her that there’s no point and that he won’t help her plead. CYN then tries to make her think rationally and to persuade her that she shouldn’t help TBJ by telling her that TBJ escaped only to save Weiyang and to marry her. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.07.58 pm.png Then, we see TBY and her servant talking how the Ling Song’s advisor keeps on delaying their trip for a few days already and that there might be a hidden agenda. He then goes to see Weiyang who keeps on wondering why isn’t TBJ here yet to save her. TBY tells Weiyang that if she had accepted his offer to become his wife, she wouldn’t be in this dire situation but Weiyang just tells him that she doesn’t regret it. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.11.21 pm.png Then its nightfall, and we see the guards drinking and chatting with each other while TBY and the advisor have a meal together. After drinking a cup of wine, both TBY and his servant lose consciousness – they were drugged. However, we note that TBY was awake the whole time and has heard the advisor’s plan. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.13.53 pm.png Meanwhile, Weiyang, Baizhi and Juntao seems to be drugged as well by the advisor as he tells them that this was their plan all along. As they tried to capture Weiyang, TBY remains outside eavesdropping on the situation. He tells his servant to wait a bit longer, despite the advisor forcing himself on Weiyang. Just as he was about to go in, TBJ comes in and kills the advisor, saving Weiyang again. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.16.58 pm.png Afterwards, TBJ and his servant goes to ‘wake up’ TBY and his men. TBY pretends to not know anything while TBJ explains the situation. He then asks for time alone with Weiyang, so everyone left. We see the couple back in their little bubble as they both relay their worries and promises to each other. TBJ then left as his servant called on him, but not before complimenting Weiyang, “beautiful”. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.24.06 pm.png Next, TBJ requests his uncle, TBY, to bring Weiyang back to the Capital safely. TBY becomes confused as he thought that TBJ will come with them. But TBJ says that he has to settle some matters first with Liu Song. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.29.12 pm.png Meanwhile, TBY’s servant requests them to stop and rest since they’ve been travelling non-stop. As Weiyang worries about TBJ and wants to find him, TBY tells her that he’s not here and he doesn’t know where he is. Then, arrows start killing TBY’s soldiers and fighting ensues. TBY quickly gets on a horse and brings Weiyang with him as they escape the fighting despite getting injured by an arrow. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.32.03 pm.png They then arrive at a dilapidated house but not before sending their horse away to divert the enemy’s attention. They find a secret hideout inside the house to hide away from the soldiers, which was a success. However, we see TBJ getting anxious and shaking as he’s stuck in a dark room which reminded him of his dark childhood where he was locked away and separated from his mother. But then it seems that he has calmed down when Weiyang puts a hand on his shoulder to stop him from making a sound. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.33.46 pm.png
Meanwhile, TBJ arrives at one of the towns and notices that he was too late. The soldiers tell him that the General who was in charge of this town has died and that they don’t have many soldiers left to protect the town.
Then, we see that Weiyang has decided to not abandon TBY since he saved her life. TBY then wakes up and takes the medicine Weiyang gives him. As she was about to leave to get food for them, TBY quickly tells her not to go and grabs her arm. Seems like he’s still traumatised as he doesn’t want to be left alone in this foreign place.
Later, they both dozed off from tiredness but TBY soon wakes up and realised that Weiyang didn’t leave him alone. Then, Weiyang quickly wakes up when she hears Juntao’s voice who has come to save them. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.50.09 pm.png Meanwhile, TBJ gets ready for battle with his life on the line. He makes a powerful speech to empower his soldiers and give them confidence to beat the Liu Song’s army. They then win the battle and TBJ returns triumphantly. TBJ then says that the enemy will come back soon and that they need to prepare well. Screen Shot 2016-11-28 at 1.54.47 pm.png Then, we see a messenger relaying positive news of TBJ’s victory to TBY. Weiyang overhears TBJ’s location and proceeds to go there despite the dangers. TBY tries to stop her but it seems like she made up her mind, so he let her go
