TUESDAY UPDATE ON PRINCESS WEIYOUNG EPISODE 25
We see Weiyang getting ready for another hunting day as Baizhi tells her that today is an important day and that she should be careful not to make a mistake. Juntao then hands Weiyang a small bottle of antidote as she won’t always be by Weiyang’s side protecting her. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 11.41.01 am.png Next, we see a group of soldiers laying a trap as ordered by the older prince. Looks like this trap is for TBJ – why so evil?!?!?! Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 11.46.50 am.png Then, we see the Emperor compliment CYN for killing the most in the hunt. Then TBJ comes with a huge cart of dead animals saying that Weiyang hunted them and asked the Emperor’s servant to count them as they’re the ones . Looks like Weiyang was unaware of this fact (remember how TBJ got extra arrows from his servant in the previous ep?). The servant then tells the Emperor that Weiyang killed the most. The older prince says that TBJ is cheating if he passes of his killed animals to Weiyang but TBJ provides evidence by saying that the arrows that shot the birds are Weiyang’s as it has her name on it.
Looks like TBJ is helping Weiyang to get in the Emperor’s good graces so that she will have the opportunity to request something from the Emperor.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 11.49.09 am.png Meanwhile, we see Changle throwing a tantrum out in the woods thinking about TBJ’s words about how he doesn’t have her in his heart. Her servant nearly falls into a trap set by the older prince but was quickly saved by Changle. Curiously, Changle observes the trap and sees snakes at the bootom. As her servant complains that they should leave, Changle quickly orders her servant to hide the trap as she plans to lure Weiyang into this trap. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 11.57.32 am.png
Then, we see someone knock out Baizhi before seeing TBJ and the older prince hunting. The older prince tells TBJ to stop tricking the Emperor as he finds Weiyang’s arrows with TBJ. He then says that he will help TBJ to find the arctic fox before leading TBJ to the trap.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.02.02 pm.png Meantime, we see TBY hunting for the arctic fox as LMD watches him. As TBY makes a shot, LMD quickly interrupts it, ruining TBY’s hunt. Just as TBY was about to catch LMD, the princess (still disguised as a prince) quickly comes and saves him and diverts TBY’s attention from LMD. Later, when the princess gets attacked by a hawk, LMD tries to help her and in the midst of helping her, finds out that that she was a girl the whole time. The princess then faints from seeing her blood and LMD has no choice but to piggyback her back to camp.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.11.25 pm.png Meanwhile, we see TBJ and the older prince still on the hunt for the arctic fox. The older prince keeps trying to lure TBJ to his trap and then suggests that they separate to find the arctic fox. TBJ agrees and goes along a road where the trap is laid.
TBJ’s servant tells TBJ that it’s dangerous and to be careful, “You are going to lose your life because of Weiyang”, hahas. Someone then releases the arctic fox who then lures TBJ to the trap. As TBJ runs through a trigger, numerous arrows shot towards him but he escapes them unscathed. Unfortunately, he falls into the trap where snakes come out to him. He quickly fights the snakes and kills them all but not before getting bitten by one of them.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.13.33 pm.png Then we see the Older Prince’s men quickly laying the trap again, with TBJ underneath so that no one will know he’s there.

The Emperor’s servant tells the Emperor that Weiyang has killed the most out of everyone. The Emperor then praises Weiyang and says that she can request something from him since she’s the winner, “Any request is fine and I can promise you that”. As Weiyang gets ready to speak of her request, we see CYN’s man getting ready to shoot her. Weiyang quickly says that she requests the Emperor to graciously grant her pardon in the future if she does anything wrong as well as not punishing her family members. The Emperor accepts her request as Weiyang says that she hopes the Emperor won’t contradict his words later. The Emperor chuckles saying that if he said it, he will do it.
Then Weiyang tells the Emperor that she has something to report to him. As she proceeds to get the scroll out from behind her armour, CYN’s man gets ready to shoot at her. But she was suddenly interrupted as TBJ’s servant tells the Emperor that TBJ is missing. The Emperor then quickly orders everyone to find his grandson.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.20.39 pm.png As Weiyang was about to leave to search for TBJ, Juntao quickly runs out to Weiyang telling her that she needn’t do this. Weiyang refuses saying that he saved her life numerous times so she shouldn’t not do anything. We also see the Crown Princess weeps as she shouts out that her son must come back safely.
Afterwards, we see soldiers and Weiyang searching for TBJ. Then one of the soldiers on horseback throws an item behind Weiyang who notices it and went to get it. Looks like its from Changle who says that Weiyang must go to this place or else Baizhi will die. Weiyang then suspects that TBJ’s disappearance and Baizhi’s kidnapping is related, so she decided to look for Baizhi in order to get news of TBJ. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.34.53 pm.png Then we see Juntao looking for Weiyang who is following the directions on a map. As Weiyang continues walking, she spots Baizhi (who is just Changle’s servant posing as Baizhi) and runs towards her. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.37.55 pm.png As Changle watches, Weiyang looks at Baizhi suspiciously. Then Changle’s guard flicks a rock at Weiyang which makes her loses her stance and falls straight into the trap. Changle praises her guard then tells her servant to go down and check whether Weiyang has died. The servant goes down and quickly nudges Weiyang’s foot without looking back. She then quickly climbs up…If only she looked at Weiyang, then she could see TBJ as well! As the servant tells Changle that Weiyang is dead, she then hides the trap so that no one else will notice. Changle smirks and then leaves but not before accidently dropping one of her hairpins to the ground. Changle also instructed her maid to hide the footprints and block the entry so that no one else can find Weiyang’s dead body…so cruel! Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.41.02 pm.png
Then Weiyang regains her consciousness and spots TBJ next to her. When she sees the dead snakes, she realised that he has been bitten and thus poisoned.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.46.20 pm.png Weiyang then quickly sucks out the poison and gives TBJ the antidote to save him. Of course, since he’s unconscious, she had to give the pill to him using mouth-mouth. She then faints on his chest before wishing that he lives.
Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.48.33 pm.png Next, we see Baizhi waking up from being knocked unconscious. She then becomes worried seeing that Weiyang and Juntao are not back yet. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.50.11 pm.png Meanwhile, Juntao spots the rocks Weiyang made to make an arrow to show where she went before she fell down the trap. As she shouts Weiyang’s name, Weiyang was clueless because she already lost consciousness. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.51.27 pm.png Then we see CYN worried about the scroll Weiyang was about to reveal to the Emperor. He then orders his servant to find her in order to find the scroll. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.52.30 pm.png Next, we see TBY with her servant asserting his assumptions that TBJ’s disappearance is because of the older prince. But TBY is not going to do anything about it.
Meanwhile, we see that the princess has returned back to her camp thanks to LMD. The princess’ servant was surprised that her identity has been revealed. As she tried to get more information out of LMD, he quickly leaves saying that she can ask her princess instead. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.55.36 pm.png Then Weiyang soon wakes up as TBJ coughs. However, he does not gain consciousness which worries Weiyang especially since he seems feverish. We see her removing his armour and fanning him to cool his temperature down. Then, TBJ complains of being cold and Weiyang then tries to warm him up by removing her cape. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 12.59.53 pm.png Meanwhile, Juntao, Baizhi and LMD look for Weiyang together before they split up. LMD notices the broken roots and realised that someone purposely planted a barrier there. He goes through the bushes and finds Weiyang’s footprints. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 1.02.39 pm.png
Meanwhile, Changle’s servant discovers that Changle is missing a hair pin. Changle quickly runs out to find it. Screen Shot 2016-11-25 at 1.04.15 pm.png Then, we see LMD following the footprints and shouts out Weiyang’s name. Weiyang hears LMD’s voice and shouts for help. He then discovers the trap and quickly goes to save Weiyang. Weiyang proceeds to go up first while Changle watches her. Thoughts:
As with a lot of other dramas, Changle is probably going to fake being TBJ’s hero and maybe this is how she will become his wife? But seriously…how can she be so ok with wanting someone else dead? Honestly…if this happens, I’m not going to enjoy watching the next ep.
