TUESDAY UPDATE ON JHANSI KI RANI EPISODE 302-305
Ganga convinces Tatya Tope that she was only motivated by the desire to protect Laxmibai.
To test the skills of the women's army, Gangadhar Rao orders his soldiers to attack the female recruits. Gangadhar Rao warns his soldiers to maintain secrecy lest the women take the test very lightly.
To win over Tatya Tope's confidence, Ganga deliberately loses the sword fight. She compels him to reveal the secret technique to protect Laxmibai. Tatya Tope teaches Ganga the technique and asks her not to misuse it in any way.
Ganga eavesdrops on Laxmibai and Hira Bai's conversation. Hira asks Laxmibai to offer prayers to cows for the protection of the unborn child. She asks her to carry a puja thali in her hands and go bare feet.
Ganga releases a snake in the cowshed and manages to scare away the cows. Even as a startled Laxmibai tries to find out the reason, Ganga with her face covered in a veil, tries to attack Laxmibai.
Gangadhar Rao praises Laxmibai and the women's army for their bravery.
Sakhubai informs Nelson about Ganga's death.
Gangadhar Rao tries to console Laxmibai after he learns about Ganga's death.
Nelson visits his evil twin brother and plots to kill Laxmibai.
Baji Rao is on his deathbed and wishes to meet Laxmibai. Vahinisaheb informs him that a messenger has been sent to Jhansi to inform Laxmibai about his condition.
Hira Bai informs Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao about Baji Rao's deteriorating health and his wish to see Laxmibai. Laxmibai gets frantic and expresses desire to meet Baji Rao. However, Hira Bai stops Laxmibai in view of her pregnancy.
Indu and Moropant leave for Bithoor to visit Baji Rao. At Laxmibai's persistent demand, Gangadhar allows Laxmibai to visit Bithoor . In view of her health concerns, Gangadhar Rao decides to accompany Laxmibai.
The news of Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao's visit to Bithoor reaches Nelson. Nelson's brother advises him to follow the policy of divide and rule in separating Laxmibai and Gangadhar Rao.
Nelson stops Gangadhar Rao from accompanying Laxmibai in view of the grave threats to law and order condition in Jhansi.
Gangadhar Rao remains in Jhansi to maintain law and order and Laxmibai leaves for Bithoor. Tatya Tope accompanies Laxmibai for her protection.
The palace guard stops Alex from entering the palace. Alex learns from the guards that Gangadhar Rao is visiting the country while Laxmibai has left for Bithoor.
Tatya Tope informs Laxmibai that the way to Bithoor was blocked and he needs to find an alternate route. Tatya Tope goes ahead in search of the route.
Gangadhar Rao has a tough time resolving caste riots in Jhansi. Nelson mocks Gangadhar Rao that the British would be better placed to handle the violence. He also adds that the news of this mishap must reach Fort Williams. Gangadhar Rao refuses to be cowed down by Nelson.
Tatya Tope's horse senses trouble and it refuses to proceed further. The horse gets uncontrollable and Tatya Tope falls in a pit of quick sand. On the other hand, Laxmibai gets worried about Tatya Tope. She and her guards go in search of Tatya Tope and are attacked by dacoits. Laxmibai succeeds in defeating them. She manages to rescue Tatya Tope. The duo then battles it out with the remaining dacoits.
A dacoit tries to attack Laxmibai from behind but fails after Alex shoots the dacoit. Laxmibai thanks Alex for saving her life. She learns from Alex that he has been appointed to protect the king and the queen of Jhansi.
Baji Rao proclaims Nanasaheb as his legal heir. Manson challenges Baji Rao's proclamation.
Alex comes in and tries to cool matters. He informs Manson that the East India. Company has accepted Nanasaheb as the legal heir of Bithoor. Manson warns Alex not to interfere in administrative matters.
Baji Rao threatens to lodge a complaint against Manson to the authorities at Fort Williams. Manson declares that the East India army had already surrounded the palace. Manson warns Laxmibai, Tatya Tope and Nanasaheb that if they planned to attack him, it would prove fatal to the people present at the palace.
A shocked Baji Rao suffers a cardiac attack and breathes his last. Before leaving for the next world, the Peshwa makes Laxmibai promise that she will protect Bithoor from the British. Manson orders his general to attack the palace. The general refuses citing rules of East India Company did not approve of such an act.
A pall of gloom spreads all across Bithoor. The mortal remains of Baji Rao is cremated will all state honors.
Captain Caudwell warns Manson that any drastic step against Bithoor would prove fatal to entire East India Company throughout India.
After cremation, Baji Rao's ash is taken Nanasaheb for the post-funeral rites. A British official stops Nanasaheb from proceeding further with the pot.
Manson stops Nanasaheb from immersing Baji Rao's ashes in the river. He claims that the river belonged to the British and insults Nanasaheb by asking him to pay the tax if he wanted to continue with the immersion ceremony.
Laxmibai takes the pot from Nanasaheb and announces that the matter will be settled through war. If Bithoor wins, the British will pay respects to Baji Rao's ashes, Laxmibai asserts. Manson accepts the challenge and the war is scheduled for the next day.
Vainisaheb advises Laxmibai to guide Nanasaheb instead of getting involved in the war.
Laxmibai hands over a sword to Nanasaheb and vows to defeat the British. The armies of Bithoor and the Company face each other.
Nanasaheb duels with a Company commander. But flouting all rules, Company soldiers join the duel and take on Nanasaheb. Unable to control her anger, Laxmibai decides to join the duel.
