FRIDAY UPDATE ON JHANSI KI RANI EPISODE 310-311
Nelson and Manson plan to assassinate Laxmibai.
Shankar Lohar extends an olive branch to Gangadhar Rao saying he wanted to settle things peacefully. Shankar asks the King of Jhansi to meet him and to come alone and unarmed. Laxmibai asks Gangadhar Rao's permission to meet Shankar instead of him. Rao Dulaju offers to accompany Laxmibai and to ensure her safety. Gangadhar Rao allows them to meet Shankar.
Gangadhar Rao learns about the worsening situation in Jhansi and realizes that the violence was part of a conspiracy to overthrow his rule.
Laxmibai reaches the decided venue to meet Shankar Lohar. Rao Dulaju accompanies her. To the shock and surprise of Laxmibai and Rao Dulaju, a gang of dacoits attack them. Shankar, who is among the dacoits,tries to attack Laxmibai but she fends off the attack bravely.
A severely injured Laxmibai is rescued by Gangadhar Rao. Though the King and the Queen manage to flee, the dacoits chase them.
Nelson warns a conspirator against underestimating Laxmibai. It is later revealed that the conspirator is actually Rao Dulaju.
Nelson orders Rao Dulaju to kill Laxmibai.
Gangadhar Rao finds shelter in a house and helps Laxmibai to rest. He decides to fetch a vaidya and promises to return soon.
However, the dacoits who had attacked Gangadhar Rao and Laxmibai, catch up with the King and attack him again. Gangadhar Rao fights them bravely.
Meantime, Rao Dulaju sets the house in which Laxmibai is resting on fire. Laxmibai is alarmed when she sees fire and calls out to Gangadhar Rao.
Gangadhar Rao is seriously injured and faints. Nelson is happy to see Laxmibai trapped inside the burning house.
The news of Laxmibai's death plunges Jhansi in a pall of gloom. But Nelson, Manson and Lord Dalhousie celebrate Laxmibai's death. Lord Dalhousie believes it is just a matter of time before the Company annexed Jhansi as he is confident Rao Dulaju would convince Gangadhar Rao to surrender the throne of Jhansi.
Though grief stricken; Gangadhar Rao is sure about Laxmibai's safety. His confidence is vindicated as Laxmibai is safe and alive. Laxmibai was saved by Dai Ma.
Laxmibai remains unconscious for six months. Dai Ma prays for Laxmibai and the safety of the child growing inside her womb.
Gangadhar Rao is certain that Laxmibai will survive. However, his confidence starts waning when all signs point to the opposite.
Rao Dulaju takes advantage of Gangadhar's vulnerability and convinces him to surrender Jhansi's throne.
While Manson and Nelson rejoice about Gangadhar Rao's decision, Janki Bai interrupts their moment of happiness. She reminds Nelson about his promise to give her the legal rights to control Jhansi, after it came in the hands of East India Company. Nelson imprisons Janki Bai.
Raghunath, Tatya Tope and the Pradhan Mantri try to convince Gangadhar to reconsider the decision to surrender the throne. Gangadhar, however, tells them that he has surrendered Jhansi. He adds that he has lost his will to live after Laxmibai's death.
Dai Ma is worried as Laxmibai's delivery date is nearing.
Nelson shows Manson the official document to annex Jhansi and informs him that they await Gangadhar's signature.
Dai Ma succeeds in bringing Laxmibai out of her comatose state. Dai Ma informs Laxmibai that she was experiencing labor pains. On the other hand, Gangadhar Rao sets himself on the funeral pyre
