WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON THREE SIDES OF ANA EPISODE 95 12TH SEPTEMBER 2018 ON GTV

WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON THREE SIDES OF ANA EPISODE 95
We are back with the master of truth Ramiro as he is uncovering all of the TioM’s secrets. It suddenly dawns on him how unfair it was for TioM to go against him during the Ana Let’s crusade to spoil his reputation. Mariano thinks these are totally different things and, besides, they are men you see and there is another part of the body they sometimes must think with and Ramiro is welcome to debate this from his righteous stand, but Mariano really has no other insight to offer. Except to say that he is not totally and alone at fault for Gina’s death.
In a shocking to all of us twist of events, Maribel has found Ana Lu finally and is trying to take her back to the store to show Ana Lu that girl who looks so much like her. We are starting to place bets on the number of coincidences that will fall into place to prevent the reunion. Kudos to Maribel though.
While that is happening, Mariano is still pleading his case. He must have read the Art of War a couple months ago preparing for the legal fight with Viridiana, and remembered the part on the offense being the best defense. His new angle on this whole thing is that everyone is responsible for Gina’s death – Valentin, Marcelo, Ramiro, as well as Mariano. Surely Ramiro isn’t proud of yelling at Gina like that, says Mariano and literally rolls his eyes at Ramiro’s attempts to explain himself by bringing to light such nonsensical and irrelevant things as cheating and deceit: “We all have an excuse Ramiro!”. (Yes, but other people’s excuses are actually valid, Mariano. We think you should consult Sun Tzu again, or any copy of Logic for Dummies.)
Shucks, familia Alvarez del Castillo is all packed up in a van by the time Maribel and Ana Lu make it to the store, which wraps up close call #103954. Maribel is bummed, but Ana Lu makes her feel better by inviting her for ice cream.
Mariano and Ramiro are still not done settling business, but are inching towards an eventual bro-hug. Ramiro points out he broke up with Gina as he realized he was in love with Llora and Mariano responds with feelings of pride that such a wonderful man is with his niece. They both wish they could change the past and agree that Llora does not need to know this ugly truth, as that would only hurt her. Mariano offers Ramiro a drink and they toast to second chances. Mariano gave Ramiro a second chance once (you know, when he first believed a ridiculous lie and then graciously withdrew his protests when truth was shoved in his face), says our Tio, and now he hopes he gets one himself. (We actually think that with such iron-clad logic, and complete inability to either see fallacies or course correct, he should run for a political office. Why is he wasting such talent in real estate?)
Tadeo and Nerina are listening to poignant music. Tadeo thinks Nerina looks beautiful, even when she is sad and wants to know what troubles her. Nerina mentions her problems with her son and Tadeo offers his usual wise and deep consolation comments. These two look good together.
Tadeo’s own sons are debating the moral implications of prostitution and whether or not Inaki is getting paid for sexual favors by Julietta. Inaki finds this conversation highly amusing, while Javier is highly alarmed.
Our friendly neighborhood hostel owner, who no doubts contracted short term memory loss from her step son to make her get in the car with the man who swore to destroy her, has arrived with the said man to some abandoned house in ruins. That apparently is enough to just slightly raise her antenna, so she inquires why she was brought to the place. (We are assuming from this that though it took them a while to get here, Facundo glued the pictures of the hostel on the car’s windows to make Remedios think they were just parked outside. So it makes sense that this strange place just jumped out of nowhere when she opened the door and hence must be a first chance to ask this very logical question.) Facundo answers it was so they can talk calmly and Rem is satisfied with this answer. But a burning doubt is eating at her all of a sudden – did Facundo bring her here to gravely offend her again by offering her money? (We wait in vain for a hand of the common sense to appear and smite Remedios, but alas…) So yeah, turns out Facundo does not have any intentions to offend her with money offers. He would, though, like to offer her to continue living if she would like, in exchange for getting the heck away from his son. The ‘oh crap’ look on Rem’s face cannot come soon enough.
Ramiro and Mariano are finally hugging and are best friends once again.( This was the most anti-climactic plot reveal of all time.) Mariano is looking forward to Ramiro asking for Llora’s hand in the evening and hopes Ramiro is ready for his protective Tio speech. Ram cannot wait. They are interrupted by the curious Ana Le, who came to investigate the commotion. Ram unceremoniously excuses himself and Ana Le squeezes in her well-wishes for his happiness with Llora, pointing out that she already has another commitment that evening. As the door closes behind Ram, TioM is unhappy Ana Le will be missing this important event.
Back at the abandoned house, Remedios is unwilling to take Facundo’s lifeline, so she is presented with Santiago’s alter ego – Marcelo. Marcelo asks Facundo to run along, as he will make sure senora is taken care of. Facundo gleefully skips away, in his mind already picking out tacky flowers for Rem’s coffin. Rem tries to reason with Marcelo and bring Santiago forward. Marcelo instructs her to keep quiet, he does not tolerate annoying people and thinks problems should be solved at the root. She should have known better than to bring an assassin into her house. He pulls out a gun and points it at a scared Rem.
Back at the real state agency, would-be politician Mariano is trying to find out who aired his dirty laundry. Was it Ana Le? Did she tell Ram that Tio was rolling around in the hay with Ram’s fiancé? Ana Le is appalled he would even think she’d betray him, and almost blurts out that she is completely in love with him, substituting “in love” with “on your side” just in time, and burying herself in Tio’s lap afterwards.
Elsewhere the stand-off of a woman, a man and a tumor is still going on. Rem wants to know if Facundo is aware of the tumor yet. Does Marcelo really think his cold and cruel father will care for him in his weak state? Facundo does not seem like the man who accepts weakness in his son. Rem is trying to appeal to Santiago in Marcelo, but Marcelo is rejecting her. She realizes Marcelo is hurt as well with a broken heart and cries for him. She tells him that he doesn’t need to be strong in front of her – if she could be a mother to Santiago, she can also be one for Marcelo. Marcelo, though, thinks that Santiago must die, and he will die if Rem dies, and so he orders her to get on her knees and points the gun at her again. Rem says she forgives him with all her heart and, as a last wish, asks him to let her remember some past moments: how she cared for him in the hospital, how she gave her heart to him the moment she saw him and since that moment never stopped praying for him. Marcelo looks like he is either battling with a headache or with Santiago, though it could be one and the same to him.
Javier is lamenting to Inaki that none of the gifts he gave Maribel brought any progress to their relationship. It must be because she is in love with that Orlando. Inaki offers his help, he will find a way to attract Maribel to his brother.
Tadeo and Nerina are commiserating on how rude and ungrateful children could be. Tadeo hopes one day Inaki will realize the error of his ways and come back, knowing that Tadeo is always there for him. And even though Nerina wasn’t always there for Tin in his hard times, it wasn’t by design and Tadeo is sure he will forgive her.
Maribel runs into Orly at the hostel and is about to spill the beans about Ana Lu’s double sighting. Orly’s overly interested behavior gets her antenna up though and she changes the subject. Why hasn’t Orly been to practice? Well, he has a well-paying job and doesn’t care if Anibal fires him.
Ana Lu, meanwhile, wonders where Rem could have gone. Susi says she shouldn’t be much longer.
Rem continues trying to jolt Santi’s memory by recounting their experiences. Marcelo says thank you for all you’ve done and now I have to kill you for your troubles. Yet, he is having a very hard time pulling the trigger. Rem is pleading for a last hug and kiss.
Llora is trying on a dress and she has audience it turns out – Ana Le. The latter muses that she might feel lonely when Llora is married and out of the house, then wonders if Edmundo would be coming to dinner. Llora hopes he will and Ana Le points out that it does not look like Ram’s dad either likes Llora or considers her a good match for his son. Zero self-esteem Llora says she can’t blame him, knowing her own shortcomings. She will fight to gain his acceptance, though and Ana Le insincerely wishes her luck.
Rem hugs Marcelo, who is fighting very hard to control Santiago inside him. She tells him she forgives him and understands why he needs to do it, and she will always love him. As she releases him from a hug, Marcelo is hit with a terrible headache again and grabs his head, moving this gun left and run (and we hope it’s on safety…) Santiago seems to have won this part of the battle – he appears, hugs Rem and asks her to go, to run (Again we want to pipe in to say that we think she should listen…)
At the hostel Ana Lu is still worried about Rem and she shares her worry with Chana. Is it true Chana saw something in the cards? Yes, she saw death.
Mariano is inviting Viridiana to the dinner – he wants to introduce Viri to the family as his girlfriend. Mariano promises Ana Le won’t be a problem and Viri agrees to go. They seal the deal with a smooch, and who walks in the restaurant at this precise time to observe this, but Clawdia herself.
Ana Lucia can’t wait any longer – she will phone Santiago to tell him something terrible is happening and she is worried for Remedios! Chana advises her against it – she is just looking for a reason to hear Santiago’s voice and she has nothing to tell him. They don’t know what is going on. (It seems that about 90% of TVA’s problems could be resolved by timely and appropriate use of cellular phones, but that advanced technology might still be a decade away from their particular city district.) Chana says what she say in the cards can’t be changed by Ana Lu or Santiago – the evil is already in this house and she looks straight at Orlando, who appeared behind Ana Lu. Chana advises Orly doesn’t commit something he would be sorry for later, and he should remember that one pays for everything in this life. Orly barks something rude and scampers away.
Maribel is going for take three on trying to tell the Ana Lu’s twin story: she recounts her experience to Javier, who is incredulous. Maribel is pretty sure of what she saw and she has a theory: what if Sole had twins and kept one, and the twins’ father kept another one? They try to discuss all the possibilities and what to do now, when they notice omnipresent Orly standing nearby and listening in.
In the restaurant Clawdia “warns” Viri to be careful of Mariano, who uses women and throws them away. Viri does not look too worried and tells Claw that she sounds like a very bitter woman. Upon returning to the table Viri debriefs with Mariano, who noticed Claw in the restaurant as well. Viri thinks it’s of no importance and wants to continue smooching. They pick good time for restart, as Claw gets to watch that again.
Rem and Santi are celebrating their victory over Marcelo. This was the first time Santi could remember what he was doing as Marcelo. Rem thinks that if he puts his mind to it, Santi can win over Marcelo.
Chana is trying to calm Ana Lu. The door opens – is it Rem? Oh, it’s just my mom, says Ana Lu and leaves the room. Chana advises Sole to tell the truth again, but Sole is tired and doesn’t have forces for anything. If she loses Ana Lu, she will lose her will to live. Sole says she did what she did out of love. Sole may think so, but when authorities find out they might not agree, says Chana. Sole thinks they will put her in jail. May be it is a crime in the eyes of the law, but it was Sole’s destiny to save Ana Lu, Chana responds. (Ok, what side are you trying to argue here, Chana?)
Everyone is ready for the engagement dinner. Ana Le snipes at a very pretty Leonor that she is not to stand there as if she was part of the family. Erni corrects her granddaughter that Leonor is, in fact, family. Facundo is very attentive to Leonor and Ana Le wants to know where his son is. He should be arriving soon, she is told. Mariano arrives with Viridiana and presents her as his girlfriend. Ana Le silently seethes.
Suddenly, a door bell – it’s Marcelo! Ana Le wants him to go upstairs and change, but instead he stretches his hand to the door and pulls a very uncomfortable Remedios in. You see, Remedios is the woman who took care of him after the accident and he owes his life to her. He brought her here today, because the whole family is together and that is what Remedios is to him – more than a mother. Family. (We are all not sure if Santiago thought that someone was going to propose to him tonight as well and he should make sure all of his family is present, but the entertainment and shock value is fantastic, so no complaints). Everyone is surprised, Facundo is livid and feeling sorry he didn’t just finish the job himself. Ana Le looks like she could just disappear to avoid the shame of being in some form associated with this humble-looking woman. And Ramiro is the only one who warmly greets Rem and thanks her for coming. Tune in tomorrow for the rest of this exciting night!
