TUESDAY UPDATE ON PRINCESS WEIYOUNG EPISODE 52
TBY asks Weiyang for the late Emperor’s last words since she was with him when he died. Weiyang tells him that the Emperor gave the throne to TBJ. However, we see that TBY is trying to get Weiyang to support him as the next Emperor, “You want to let me fake his legacy?!”. But Weiyang outright refuses, “You are dreaming!”. TBY quickly asks him to bring in her family as hostages, as to force Weiyang to claim that TBY is the next heir. He then walks over to strangle her mother, but Granny Li tells Weiyang to not give him what he wants. But seeing her mother is struggling and is going to lose her life, she promises TBY that she will do his bidding. Juntao runs out to meet them and goes to find a doctor for the Princess. Alone, the Princess later becomes conscious as she and LMD continue to profess their love for each other, “You can’t leave me alone. I won’t marry anyone else”. But then the Princess coughs out blood and loses consciousness, scaring us and LMD. Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 9.13.16 pm.png Next, TBJ gets tortured by guards at a prison where he is held. TBY comes in and dismisses everyone before telling TBJ that the Emperor has passed away, “I didn’t kill my Imperial Father”. TBY tells TBJ that the Emperor died because of the Head Eunuch whom he got on his side since TBY was 13 years old. TBJ tells him that he will never forgive him for killing the Emperor. TBY laughs and says that TBJ is now his prisoner so he can’t do anything. But TBJ continues to agitate TBY who breaks his arm. TBY then tells TBJ that he’s going to get the throne but TBJ doesn’t believe him, “the Emperor wouldn’t give his throne to you”. TBY says that he’s right and that only Weiyang knows the Emperor left the throne to TBJ. TBY continues to agitate TBJ by insinuating that Weiyang willingly changed the Imperial edict to help TBY get the throne. TBY also says that his relationship with Weiyang went by way back and that Weiyang told him that she has him in his heart. TBJ doesn’t believe him but TBY says that he will have a big wedding with Weiyang after he gets the throne.
Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 9.22.59 pm.png Afterwards, TBY goes inside the courtroom as soldiers surround the ministers. A minister asked about TBJ and TBY says that TBJ rebelled against the throne. He then asks for evidence as they don’t believe his word but then Changle comes in bringing in a secret letter TBJ had allegedly written to Rouran. However, the minister still doesn’t believe that TBJ will betray his Emperor. TBY says that the reason he called them here is to tell them the Emperor’s last words which only Weiyang knows. Weiyang arrives and tells everyone that the Emperor left the throne to TBY. However, the minister asks for evidence and TBY asks him whether he suspects that he threatened Weiyang. But Weiyang tells them that she has evidence and shows them the late Emperor’s jade seal. Then all the ministers were forced to kneel before TBY and accept his as their Emperor. Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 9.37.26 pm.png Later, Weiyang seems sad as she thinks about TBJ and how he’s doing. TBY soon comes in and tries to get close to her but instantly gets rejected. TBY tells Weiyang that the situation has become like this because of TBJ. But Weiyang refutes and say that it was TBY who harmed so many innocent lives including the Crown Prince and the Emperor. TBY then threatens Weiyang that he has her loved ones in his hands. He then orders his guards to bring Granny Li, her mother and Changxi inside before leaving them alone. Her mother then tells her about what she heard on TBJ which surprises Weiyang as she leaves to find TBY. TBY tells her that it was Changle’s doing and that she got evidence to prove TBJ’s treacheries. Weiyang then tells him that she’s going to tell everyone everything but TBY says “Who will trust your words?”. She knows that he’s right since the ministers will be scared to go against TBY since he’s now the Emperor and will kill anyone who does so. Weiyang then leaves in anger by passes by ChangLE who walks in and requests something from TBY.

Suddenly, soldiers come in and say that they (Weiyang’s family) must leave the palace as per the Emperor’s order. Weiyang quickly grabs her mother’s hand and secretly gives her a letter, “You must look after your health”. As they leave, Changan stops them saying that they must be searched. We see Weiyang’s mother quickly passing the letter to Granny Li who pretends to cough and hides the letter in her mouth, covered by her handkerchief. The maids quickly search them and tells Changan that they didn’t find anything. He allows them to leave as Granny Li pretends to cough to get out the letter and pass it to Weiyang’s mother, “Don’t be scared. We are a family”. He tells her how he wanted to tell her that he loves her and so she must wake up so that they can get married. Outside the house, Juntao asks the doctor about the Princess’ health. The doctor says that he already did everything he could and whether she can wake up depends on heaven. Then Chengde comes in injured as Juntao quickly brings him inside. Then Changxi comes and tells Juntao that TBY has Weiyang and that she needs to be saved. Changxi quickly passes the secret letter to Juntao.
Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 10.03.31 pm.png Back to Weiyang, she’s still thinking about TBJ as she looks at the rock he gave her previously. TBY comes in and asks her “Don’t you want to see TBJ? I will bring you there now”. Then we see TBJ unable to see or hear anything as Changle goes up to him. She takes off his mask and ear plugs. She tells him that he is now being punished from the Heavens for not treating her well as his wife. She slaps him when he refutes back and then orders the guards to torture him. She watches TBJ suffer and we see her tearing up a bit before glaring at Weiyang who later arrives. Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 10.37.45 pm.png Weiyang tells TBY to stop letting TBY suffer since he already has the throne, “But I still haven’t got you”. Weiyang tries to go to TBJ but gets stopped by the guards. She glances at TBY who smirks and walks away. Weiyang follows him back to the throne room and TBY tells her that whether TBJ continues like that depends on her. Weiyang realises that TBY is using TBJ to force her to marry him. She eventually promises to marry him but he has to fulfill 3 of her conditions first: rectify her father’s title, don’t make things difficult for the Li Household and to release TBJ. TBY agrees but also tells her his condition: Weiyang must willingly marry him.

We see him smiling at seeing Weiyang, “I’m very happy to see you”. Weiyang also tells him that she’s happy to see him and tells him that he must live well. Of course by her words TBJ knows that TBY is forcing her to do something. He quickly tells her to don’t care about him so that she won’t have to be forced by him but Weiyang tells him that this is the last time she can see him since she will soon be TBY’s Empress. Screen Shot 2016-12-09 at 10.48.52 pm.png We see TBY listening as she tells TBJ that she is forced by TBY by threatening her family’s lives and his life so she had no choice but to comply with him, “TBJ, our love has hurt so many people…why are you still not willing to give up? Why do we have to be so selfish? Do you actually want me to watch everyone die?”. But TBJ still doesn’t want to give her up so Weiyang resorted to extreme measures to break his heart and even throws their love tokens in front of him. TBJ then laughs out loud saying that she’s tricking him as he doesn’t want to believe this situation. TBY then smirks and walks away as TBJ continues laughing. Next, Changle visits TBJ again and repeatedly slaps his face. She laughs as she continues to slap him since he is now experiencing the same heartache she has gone through with him. But we see TBJ is is not behaving like his normal self..poor guy! He’s being tortured, lost his family and Weiyang cruelly broke his heart. Changle thinks that he’s pretending to be mentally stupid and orders the men to hit him.
