FRIDAY UPDATE ON PRINCESS WEIYOUNG EPISODE 50
LMD comes in dressed in a gold armour to save Juntao and Chengde as he shoots his arrow at CYN (who’s still masked). CYN fights off the arrows before running away since he’s outnumbered. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 7.58.40 pm.png Then, CYN tells TBY what happened who’s angry that Chengde got some information and is getting closer to finding out about his involvement with the Crown Prince’s demise. CYN tells TBY not to worry and that he has a plan. Next, we see that his plan needs Changle’s help as Hong Luo tells Changle (as per CYN’s instructions) that the person who received the information must not live.
Changle immediately goes to see Chengde but is stopped by 2 guards at the entrance because of TBJ’s order. But she forces herself in and find the doctor tending to Chengde. Seeing a medicine soup on the table, she makes eye contact with Hong Luo who goes to put powder in the soup. Changle quickly asks the doctor about Chengde’s health to hide what Hong Luo is doing. Changle then tells the doctor that she’s concerned about him and will help him drink the medicine. Noticing her smile and suspecting that she’s up to something, Chengde ‘accidently’ knocks the bowl to the floor. TBJ then comes inside after scolding the guards for not listening to his order. Changle tells TBJ that she’s concerned about Chengde and TBJ dismisses everyone, including her. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.01.06 pm.png After dismissing everyone, TBJ asks Chengde what happened. Chengde tells him that Changle wants to harm him so TBJ says that its not safe here and he will bring him to another place to recuperate. Chengde then gives TBJ the black item he got from the messenger.
Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.08.34 pm.png Later, we see TBJ, Juntao, LMD and Weiyang having a conversation. Juntao tells them that she’s sure that it was CYN who attacked her. LMD suspects that he is attacking them because they’re investigating the Crown Prince’s matter but Weiyang says that it can’t be him since there’s no reason for him to because the Chiyun family is no longer influential. She says that there must be someone backing CYN and that person is involved with the Crown Prince’s matter. They then guessed that it might be TBY since they have secretly worked together before. Weiyang quickly stops TBJ from going after TBY since they have no evidence and there’s no point going after him. Weiyang tells him that they have to accomplish two goals first: catch CYN to get TBY and get the account book. They also decide to not tell the Princess about this matter since she will be torn because both TBY and TBJ are her family. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.10.56 pm.png
Then, we see TBJ having a meal with Changle. Chengde then comes in and TBJ says that he must go because of an urgent matter. Changle goes and eavesdrop on their conversation as they talk about the account book – since they’re talking out in the open, I bet this is a trap to get CYN. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.20.18 pm.png Yup, it’s a trap as Hong Luo relays the information to CYN. CYN orders his men to get ready for tonight and says that they must not tell TBY and let him get his hands on that account book. Hong Luo asks for permission to join them and CYN agrees.
Then it’s nightfall as CYN and Hong Luo follows TBJ to a place where the supposed account book is located. CYN then tells Hong Luo that if this fails, she will be in charged of the Chiyun family before following TBJ inside. He carefully watches TBJ’s every move and sees him getting the ‘account book’. We then see LMD’s smirk to TBJ since they’re plan is working. We see CYN’s men getting caught as CYN is left by himself, outnumbered. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.26.02 pm.png
CYN asks TBJ for the account book who throws the papers at him. However, the papers are blank and CYN realises that he has fallen into a trap. Just as he was about to escape, hundreds of armed soldiers surround him. However, he is unable to fight them off as Hong Luo watches him getting trapped and stabbed. TBJ asks CYN who’s his backing but CYN doesn’t say anything. TBJ tells CYN that he knows its TBY who’s behind this. Wanting to help, Hong Luo was about to move in but CYN instructs her otherwise. TBJ then leaves but not before ordering his men to bring CYN to the Emperor tomorrow morning. But then someone shoots an arrow at CYN, killing him in the process. Angrily, TBJ screams out TBY’s name out loud knowing that he just lost a key evidence because of him. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.29.23 pm.png Later, Changan informs TBY that CYN is now dead and hasn’t revealed anything. TBY says that death was coming for him anyways since he did this to himself. Looks like TBY made prior arrangements to have CYN followed by his men or else he wouldn’t be able to know that CYN got caught by TBJ. Changan tells TBY that TBJ might be suspicious of TBY now but TBY is not afraid since there’s no evidence against him especially since CYN is dead. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.38.47 pm.png Meanwhile, Chengde tells TBJ that he tracked the man (who killed CYN) into TBY’s residence. Juntao comes in to say that there’s no clues nor evidence they can use. But TBJ tries to remain positive, “No matter what, we must find that account book”.
Next, the Emperor sees CYN’s body in front of TBY and TBJ. TBJ stares at TBY who stares back at him. The Emperor then asks them how is CYN alive and whether if he is the Lord Zongzheng’s murderer. As they talk, Weiyang gets closer behind the doors to eavesdrop on their conversation. TBJ reveals that someone helped CYN to stay alive and was behind CYN with these plans. However, TBJ tells the Emperor that there’s no evidence to pinpoint someone as of yet but that he believes that this incident and his father’s incident are related. TBJ proceeds to tell the Emperor that his father was framed by someone who wanted to hurt him. TBJ then tells the Emperor that there’s an account book to prove his father’s innocence. TBY quickly butts in and says that TBJ has not been sharing the clues he found, which is not right and thus does not understand how CYN is involved. TBY continues to make TBJ’s words not believable in front of the Emperor especially since TBJ does not have concrete evidence. TBY brings up Weiyang and how TBJ does everything for her. This angers the Emperor especially when TBJ becomes irrational and blames TBY for killing CYN and framing his father. The Emperor then gives them three days to find evidence. Afterwards, Weiyang tells TBJ that he shouldn’t have said those words to the Emperor until they get evidence. TBY then comes in laughing and says that his father, the Older Prince and him are all the same, “Who’s hand isn’t covered with blood?”. Weiyang tells TBY off and asks if he’s scared of karma. TBY laughs and says “I will definitely get what I want” as he looks at Weiyang. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 8.56.57 pm.png Next, Changle gets the news of CYN’s death. Hong Luo tells Changle that they have fallen into a trap which led to CYN’s death, “TBJ used you!”. Then guards come in, followed by TBJ. TBJ tells her to stop pretending and that he knows she killed his mother. Changle tells him that he’s wrong and that his mother’s murderer is Weiyang. Changle then tells him that if he has evidence, he can kill her. When she realises that he doesn’t have evidence, she laughs as she will be his wife forever and he can’t throw her away. TBJ then orders his guards to not let anyone go in or out. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 9.01.57 pm.png Meanwhile, we see the Emperor playing chess by himself but is unable to concentrate. The Emperor asks his eunuch who is the most outstanding to be the heir. The eunuch says that both TBY and TBJ are outstanding and that TBY resembles the Emperor the most. The Emperor talks about TBY fondly and how he reminds him of his younger days but TBJ’s recent behaviour shows that he’s a bit immature. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 9.07.16 pm.png
Weiyang brings TBJ to a place where she goes to pray for the people she misses. Both Weiyang and TBJ talk to their parents and elders. Hearing the bells ring, Weiyang tells TBJ “Look, they’re here to see us”. Weiyang also tells him that the reason she bought him here is to let him know that she will be by his side even if all his loved ones leave him, “I’ll always be by your side and will never leave you”. Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 9.12.16 pm.png Later, TBJ tells LMD, Juntao and Chengde that he has already confined Changle so there won’t be any leaked information. They then contemplate about the black rock they have been left with by the dead messenger. TBJ suggests them to separate to find clues with him being with Weiyang to search Lord Zongzheng’s residence. He also instructs the others with their own tasks. TBY says that because TBJ is risking his life for Weiyang, the Emperor wouldn’t hand the throne to such a person. Back in court, hearing people speaking against investigating the Crown Prince’s matter, TBJ glares at TBY as he knows that he planned this. TBJ quickly pleads with the Emperor and the Emperor agrees to re-investigate the Crown Prince’s death.
Screen Shot 2016-12-08 at 9.16.43 pm.png After that, TBY asks TBJ whether he arranged all this. TBJ tells TBY that it’s out of his control and that he won’t be able to control the Emperor, “In the Emperor’s heart, my father’s death secretly upsets him”.
