THURSDAY UPDATE ON THREE SIDES OF ANA EPISODE 104 27TH SEPTEMBER 2018 ON GTV

THURSDAY UPDATE ON THREE SIDES OF ANA EPISODE 104
Santiago and Mariano are having a heart-to-heart. Mariano asks many questions with his usual holier-than-thou attitude. Santi is very respectful and apologetic – he will leave the lives of both sisters as promised. Santi thinks there is no need to tell anything about no surgery to Ana Le and Ana Lu doesn’t know about the tumor to begin with. He also won’t have Remedios with him, so as to not compromise her safety again. Mariano thinks he would need someone – perhaps a woman he loves as a mother – by his side throughout this ordeal. Mariano is also sad to know that he will see Marcelo/Santiago die. There was a time they were friends. What about Facundo – does he know? No, and Santi doesn’t consider him as a father. Santi will let the tumor kill him, and he poetically goes into a mad discourse on tumor being the weapon destined to kill the murderous no-good Marcelo. And his, Santi’s, new life served to bring the sisters together. He really is the vehicle of the destiny (and we should petition to rename the novella to “One man, one path, one destiny….oh, and the separated triplets”).
Police is knocking at Viridiana’s store front door and they come bearing an arrest warrant for child kidnapper Solebad, who is presently fretting in the back of the store over her destiny with Ceci. Is there a way out of the store? No time for explanations, but Ceci must hide her. Ceci gives in and points to a hiding place. Viri cannot believe Sole could ever kidnap a child, and says that she resigned several days ago and Viri has no idea of Sole’s whereabouts. La policia asks to check the store and Ceci, fresh from the hiding mission, invites them in. Sole almost get a pass as the police looks around and doesn’t find anything, but at the last moment she is discovered and arrested for the kidnapping of Ana Lucia Alvarez del Castillo.
The object of this commotion Ana Lu is at Rem’s bedside discussing her very difficult and confusing situation. Santi said she would hate him, which she thought impossible, but now she does! How could he not reveal the truth to her, even after finding it out for himself? (Believe us, Ana Lu, we are there with you. And this applied to 90% of the characters you interact with by the way.) How can she now face her family with this shame? Well, Rem (having been brainwashed by fake Ana Le, and apparently having retained none of Ramiro’s warnings) has an answer for a part of this rant: her sister, Ana Leticia, does not hold a grudge. It took a lot to forgive Ana Lu, but she did, as she understands how things happened and wants the best for the both of them. Ana Lu almost looks touched. (And we have one question for Rem: you just got shot by a man who lived in your own house. Doesn’t that merit just a bit of suspicion for the strange woman, you’ve met once, but heard not such great things about from both Ram and Sole? Ah, just go ahead and pet the snake then.)
Rem goes further and in trying to keep Ana Lu on Santi’s side, reveals about the tumor and the impending death, surely thinking it’s been a slow on news week, so what the heck.
Our abue and Leonor, in the meantime, are hard at work preparing to clean the basement. They sent away Llora, so she wouldn’t object and this is both for her good and Ana Le’s. Ana Lu is dead, the bracelet thrown away, the case is closed. (Abue should never play cards for money, she’d be terrible at betting and bluffing.)
Tin, heeding the advice of his sharp sister Clawdia (ha, pun totally intended), comes to the pension with the story of being evicted from his dumpster and needing to move in with mommy. Said mommy is overjoyed and next morning takes him to the rehab center, completely forgetting about Remedios and hospital duty. At this rehab center, by the way, Ratmundo is meeting Valeria. Val just got off the phone with Llora and Ram, and the latter promised for the 100th times to devote at least five minutes to Val’s case next week, when he is back from his shagathon. She did not let them know that she was back at the foundation waiting for Ratmundo. Rat didn’t have anything to discuss, but he brought the police with him, who certainly had some questions. Val is escorted out under Tin’s watchful eye and oboe accompaniment.
Valeria is processed through the system and brought to her cell, where her cell mate is, predictably, Sole. Sole herself was processed not that long ago and dealt with it quite calmly. They instantly bond over it being their first night in prison. Val is innocent she says, and Sole responds that she can’t say that for herself.
Mariano is over at the hostel in a heartbeat, looking for Ana Lu, but runs into Facundo instead. Mariano realizes that Facundo knew all along Ana Lu was alive and did not say anything. Screaming and yelling ensues. Facundo argues that Ana Le and Marcelo love each other, don’t want the divorce and were trying to save their marriage. He needs to find Marcelo and talk to him. Blue-eyed tio, in his righteous indignation, claims that now that he is at the wheel, things will be done his way. Really, Facundo has more important things to worry about and should really talk to his son. Facundo is trying to do just that, he replies, and inserts a couple insults for Remedios in the process. Mariano thinks Facundo should be grateful – that woman is now in the hospital, as she risked her life for his son.
Well, what do you know, Facundo doesn’t waste any time and is off to Ram’s place to look for Marcelo there. Ram’s digs are quite popular today, as Ana Lu and Maribel visited his apartment too, in hopes of finding Santiago. In the middle of the biggest turmoil of Ana Lu’s life, Maribel finds time to complain that Ana Lu’s information about Llora, Ram and their wedding is targeted directly at robbing Maribel of the one man she likes, yet again. (We are starting to think she should follow Oilando, wherever that one decides to depart and stop annoying us viewers.)
Speaking of Oily, he calls Ana Le to find out about his money. Ana Le is all over it, she says.
Having been unable to find either Santi or Ram, Ana Lu and Maribel are leaving, when Facundo’s car abruptly stops in front of them. Has anybody seen Marcelo? No, and they are looking for him as well. In that case, Facundo invites Ana Lu to get in, as they need to talk. We really hoped here that she has more sense than Remedios, but alas were disappointed and she got in the car. Facundo promises not to hurt her. (Where have we heard that before?)
Our sweet innocent Ana Le is courting Creesidro. Her latest demand is that he buys her a house, so that her “mother” would be convinced that he is serious about “Ana Lu”, and so they can meet each other in private. Creesidro is surprised that “Ana Lu” would ask for something like that, and so openly, but gleefully skips away to the bank to get the money together. In the evening he shows up for a night-time showing of the house, and having shown the money, would like to get some sugar in…eh…advance. This is something Ana Le was not banking on and, by the looks of it, she is certainly not into grandfathers. As she is rebuffing his advances, she screams that she is not Ana Lucia. It is Isidro’s turn to be surprised – not Ana Lucia? He ponders it for a bit, then probably decides – what the heck, I can role play as well, and tries to rough her up. Trusty Inaki was standing by in the vicinity and promptly comes to Ana Le’s rescue. He slams Isidro’s head, with the one thought in it, on the table many many times, at the end of which we are left with a cold Deadsidro and shocked Ana Le and Inaki. (Elsewhere, mirroring Ana Le’s shock, Llora – surprise, surprise – cries. Ram hugs her, and looks like that’s as far as he’s getting that night.)
Curvas, in the meantime, brought Santi to the dark forest to meet Ev. Ev chose this place, because he often met Ana Le here. Ev is there to unburden himself, before his disease takes all his memories. He hands a gun he brought with him to Santi, and says that after he tells him everything, Santi will have to kill Ev. Santi doesn’t think himself capable of murder. Ev tells him to wait, Marcelo is there and he will come out. And since Ev knows everything, we wait as well.
Ev reminisces about dead grandchildren and Gina, who he loved most of all. He only has Sole left now, who fortunately doesn’t have his cursed blood running through her veins. Marcelo and Ev used to be good friends until Marcelo went after Sole. Sole is like a daughter to Ev, so he won’t allow any harm to be done to her.
Ev is telling Santicelo all of this, because he can no longer protect Ana Lu, and her life is in danger. It was Ana Le who ordered Marcelo’s murder and she also doesn’t want Ana Lu found, and will stop at nothing. Santi needs to dig deep and remember, because Ev will forget. Remember! Remember! And with that direction, Santi indeed remembers Marcelo talking to Ana Le about the murder attempt in the restaurant, and Ev’s own confession before he hit Marcelo over the head after the accident. (If we only knew this was all it took, we would have been screaming “Remember!” louder from our couches all this time.)
Santi now remembers - it really was Ana Le, but also Evaristo! He points a gun at Ev, and Ev wants him to show that is one with Marcelo and shoot him. Marcelo doesn’t make them wait long and makes an appearance with his bloody nose and zombie eyes. Ev is happy to see him and the gun pointed squarely at his chest.
Tomorrow: Finally, the meeting of the sisters – Ana Lu and Ana Le!
