FRIDAY UPDATE ON KUCH RANG EPISODE 13-14
Sona was packing gifts for the guests. Ishwari comes to appreciate her effort as she had forgotten about Diwali altogether. Sona presents a pack of Cadbury to her as well, Ishwari asks if she is her relative or friend. Sona says she is thier mother and the eldest of the house, thier happiness are linked to her. Sona speaks to Ishwari that she is aware Ishwari is unhappy with thier decision, but she really wants to give Dev this one month time.
The next morning, the teacher hears Golu speaking outside the classroom. He stood outside with four more students. The teacher comes to scold them for not bringing the books. The children say they discussed what Golu said in class with thier parents, and their parents also agreed. The teacher warns that they will get failed if they continue
to follow Golu. She comes inside to ask a question from the children but none could reply except for those standing outside.
Aasha comes to Bejoy curt about Dev’s decision to interfere with the studies of kids. Bejoy says he went to speak to Dev but intead he realized his point was valid. Aasha felt helpless.
in the office, a girl was ignoring a call. Sona asks her to pick it up, but she says it might be unimportant. Sona speaks to the girl. The girl says its her wedding anniversary, her husband was planning a dinner but she has alot of work pending at home. Sona allows the girl to leave and celebrate as the time might not return. She recalls when she missed such celebrations with Dev. She returns home and finds the room decorated with rose petals and candles. Dev opens the door and stands there, saying he did this for his beautiful wife. Sona had forgotten the ocassion. Dev was annoyed that she forgot such an important date of thier life. Sona insists on him to remind her, Dev dramatically says its their romance day. She turns to leave but he holds her hand, saying he can never leave her now. Shubh is asleep, Suha and Golu have no homework. Sona argues with Dev that she got calls that other students are also being ruined because of Golu. Dev says this isn’t the time to discuss this, take the bag from her hand while they share an intense eyelock. Sona tries to leave but Dev holds her hand. She gives him a task to do what she does. Dev mocks that I am really tired, lets go to sleep. Sona agrees at once. Both laugh.
Mohini was crying in the cradle. Ronita first calls everyone at home, then comes to cradle her. She was frustrated to take care of kids.
In the school, the group of students outside the class had increased. They made cheerful noises outside. The teacher was irked and goes to complain about the Principal. Sona was in office and gets a warning call about Golu and Suha. The complaint was about Dev Dixit.
Sona hurries to the school. Dev was arguing the Principal that according to time children need some new things. The Principal says Dev doesn’t need to tell them about thier work, he know well what he needs to teach in the course. Dev argues he is the biggest investor of the school and in his new role he has a right to argue for his children’s future. The Principal turns to leave. Dev says the Principal doesn’t have a reply. The children complain they don’t understand anything. Sona tries to calm Dev down, but Dev says his decision is thoughtful. He requests all the parents who trust him to bring thier children outside. When Sona speaks to Dev, he says he needs to take a step against this old schooling system. Each child has a potential which needs to be polished.
Aleena was hurrying outside, worried about Dev’s step against the school administration. She says she will never forgive Dev if this affects their children’s education.
Golu tells Suha on call that Dev is a super man, he can control the whole school and is upto turning their school a fun place. Suha boasts Dev is her father. Outside, Dev speaks to the parents that they will take responsibility of 20 students each and teach them. Aleena comes there and questions why they created a huge issue in the school, they must let it go as it does. Sona tries to make Aleena understand, Dev says someone has to take a step forward for change.
Dev conducts the class at home. Everyone was there, watching. Dev announces they won’t study today. Golu was cheerful. Dev says today we will speak about times 1000 of centuries ago. Ishwari and Radha were happy as Dev begins the lesson. Ishwari discusses with Radha that Dev will teach well, he was a very sharp student and always asked her alot of questions as well.
Some parents complain that children are having fun, they aren’t behaving well in class. Dev says all books and no play makes Jack a dull boy. He requests them all to come after sometime, everyone will be involved even in history subject.
Shorabh was playing with Mishti in the craddle. Ronita comes to suggest him sing in Bengali. Mishti begins to cry. Shorabh asks Ronita to sing.
Dev begins the
story of King Ashok and narrates it through actions. Children got much involved with the lecture. Golu was boastful about his uncle.
Shorabh and Ronita were trying their best but couldn’t handle Mishti, and turn to see Mr. Bejoy stand behind them furiously. He complains he wanted to teach Bengali literature to Mishti but here’s what they are doing.
Dev took lessons of photosynthesis now. After the class, children dances around cheerfully. The parents gather around, Dev asks questions from history which the kids reply instantly. Parents were impressed by Dev’s management. One of the fathers was concerned that school management isn’t ready to cooperate. They decide to meet the trustees. Sona recalls the time when Suha wanted to know about her father, and Sona was unsure Dev would ever take an action.
Dev presents his proposal to the board. The members qualify they run an International school and can’t change thier study policies. Dev says he got support of alot of parents, if they strike media government and even public will question the credibility of the school. One of the old ladies asks Dev for sometime to implement such procedure, they will need to collaborate with the International community of education. Dev deters to take a severe step. But the board discuss with each other and agree to accept the proposal.
Sona was playing with Shubh. She speaks to Shubh that his fathre love them dearly. She was putting Shubh to sleep when Dev returns. She congratulates him. Dev says he had told her it will happen. He says it isn’t romance day, still he can make some changes. Sona laughs.
At night, Dev comes to kitchen and notices all the left over chores. Ishwari comes there and says atleast TK remembers half of chores, and Dev remembers nothing. She suggests about making turmeric milk for him, he will sleep well. Dev tells Ishwari he now realizes how much she had to work and never complained. Mothers are so selfless, they never ask thier children for anything. Ishwari says only a few people understand this, when a child is borne he changes the life of a mother, and fills it with beautiful feeling of motherhood. Sona hear the converstion. She comes to Suha’s room and asks why is she sleepless, if she has stomach ache? Suha says Papa gave her the medicine, she wants Sona to tap her and sing a lullaby. Sona lay down with her. She recalls how Shorabh used to run behind Suha for the medicine. Sona used to mix the glucose in water but Suha argued it was flavorless. Sona had to make her up to take it. She lay down placing her head beside Suha’s.
The next morning, Dev comes to kid’s room and notices their favorite dishes. Ishwari comes there and was concerned what doctor said. Suha says doctor wrote some more medicines. Dev explains they are multivitamins. Ishwari scolds Dev for making them eat junk food. Dev says he made the list only to teach them not to eat it again. The kids were upset. Ishwari advocates the kids that Sonakshi takes care of them, and its fine to eat from good places sometime.
